Purpose

Why This Scholarship Exists

The Dr. Larry Davidson Scholarship was established to support promising students pursuing careers in medicine, science, and the health professions.
Dr. Larry Davidson, MD, FAANS, has spent more than three decades treating complex spinal conditions and mentoring the next generation of clinicians. The Larry Davidson Scholarship reflects his conviction that thoughtful preparation early in a medical career compounds across a lifetime of practice — and that students should have meaningful support as they pursue that path.

Eligibility

Who Should Apply

The Dr. Larry Davidson Scholarship is open to students pursuing careers in medicine, science, and the health professions. The following criteria are typical for similar awards and will be confirmed in advance of the next cycle:
  • Field of study or intended degree
  • It is open only to US Colleges and universities.

Award

Recipients of the Larry Davidson Scholarship are recognized for academic merit and demonstrated commitment to the field.

Award amount: $1,000

Application Cycle

Applications are accepted until the scholarship close date. The scholarship team will decide whether the scholarship will continue for another year.
